Art: Cafe Indefatigable by Lilliana
(Art re-posted by request and with the artist's permission)
In Discord this week, Lilliana posted this charming art of William, Horatio, and Archie hard at work at the Cafe Indefatigable:

(Click for full-size)
Lilliana: I want to write an AU where the trio wants to start a coffee shop and Archie suggests they call it “Brood coffee” and Horatio thinks that sounds stupid and doesn’t get what Archie and Will are snickering about
Horatio wants to call it “Indefatigable”
In the end that one wins
They give it a ship theme! All the waiters wear sailor outfits and say “aye aye”
(I think that would be Archie’s idea, if we go along with the hc that he likes acting/theatrics)
I blame the general nonsense of this idea on the fact that I haven’t finished my own coffee yet lol
Belay That Styles: I can't help but imagine them in the sailor outfits from the Stranger Things trailer
muccamukk: Archie would manage to make his super slutty on purpose. Horatio would keep doing it by accident. William would look like he's actually in the navy.
Lilliana: Imagine Horatio spills coffee on his shirt so he goes to get a spare but at that moment there’s a rush of orders so he gets those sorted, thinking “nbd, I’m in the back, I’ll just do this first” but at some point he forgets his deshabille and emerges, coffees in each hand, glad to be providing prompt customer service, and wondering what everyone is staring at
Of course as soon as he realizes he’s embarrassed af and spends the rest of the day sulking while Archie periodically bursts into giggles, and Will acts like nothing even happened
sanguinity: Knowing Horatio, it's not just his shirt, it's his entire kit.
Lilliana: That would be in line with the books
Then later, a review is posted on their website and Horatio freaks out and assumes it’s awful, but Archie reads it out loud and it’s actually a good review, which increase Indefatigable’s popularity
But then he’s like “...you don’t expect me to do this every day, right”

Which seemed like a very savvy plan, until that happened. (Happily, he's enjoying the show as much as anyone!)
