I’ve only spent time in a big pond snob university where academics did things like get into punchups in the parking lot, so my view of academics is fairly skewed (admittedly these are anthropologists so your mileage may vary.) And yes, big fish small pond is much better if you want to make a name for yourself.

Again it’s your universe, but I just like the idea. (Not a prompt, but it’d be fun to see Horatio have to endure Thanksgiving at the Bushes. He would probably get smothered by William’s sisters.)
